Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin dependent for life and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. In a typical year, JDRF spend 85 cents of every dollar on research and education about research.

JDRF sets the global agenda for diabetes research and is the largest charitable funder of and advocate for the diabetes science worldwide.
