Alzheimer's Adult Day Services

House of Welcome (HOW) Adult Day Services of the North Shore Senior Center is a pioneering, award-wining program in the Chicago area providing specialized programs for persons with memory loss from Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. The programs offered are:

• HOW's day program offers structured, therapeutic, small-group activities in a comfortable, homelike setting,
• Alzheimer's Family Support Group, Making Sense of Memory Loss, an educational program for family members of persons with early memory loss;
• an Early Memory Loss Supper Club; Mind Matters, a group program for persons with early memory loss; and
• Caring for Persons with Memory Loss, an educational program for family members of persons with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
